1. Introduction

HostMan ("we", "our", or "us") provides a multi-tenant Hostel and Paying Guest (PG) Management SaaS platform. This Privacy Policy governs how we process information collected from hostel owners, managers, wardens, residents, and guardians.

2. Data Collection

We collect account details (email, business name, configured owner UPI ID), resident details (name, room bed code, guardian phone number), and identity proofs (Aadhaar cards/College IDs) uploaded during student onboarding.

3. Data Usage & Security

Data is used exclusively to operate rent ledgers, generate 1-click WhatsApp payment reminders, process UPI Autopay mandates via Razorpay, and calculate mess headcount forecasts. All identity documents are encrypted and stored in secure cloud object stores.

4. Zero Third-Party Monetization

We never sell, rent, or monetize user data to third-party ad networks.
